Manitoba Weightlifting Association

The Manitoba Weightlifting Association is the Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) for weightlifting in the province of Manitoba.

The MWA is a 100% volunteer-run association that is governed by an Executive Board, consisting of five people elected by MWA members. The Board consists of the President, Vice-President Administration, Vice-President Technical, Treasurer, and Secretary.

Our mandate is to develop the widest participation and highest proficiency in weightlifting in Manitoba. The MWA encourages life-long participation in sport by providing the necessary facilities, equipment, and support to athletes, officials and coaches.
