We would like to congratulate former MWA President, Susanne Dandenault, on on being part of the induction class of 2019 with the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame!
Sue joined the national team in 1998 and competed in five World Championships, two Pan Am Games, a Commonwealth Games, was an alternate at the 2004 Olympics and is a nine-time national champion (1997-2005). She still holds the Canadian records for snatch (105kg), clean & jerk (136kg) and total (237kg) in the +87kg category.
She will be inducted along with six other individuals and one team dynasty on November 2, 2019.
Riley Boyd (Dakota Weightlifting Club) and Kira Putnam (Hercules Weightlifting Club) will be representing Manitoba at the 2019 Canadian Senior Weightlifting Championships on May 18 and 19 in La Prairie, Québec.
The event will be livestreamed on the Fédération d’Haltérophilie du Québec’s Youtube and Facebook pages.

Coaching Manitoba has released it’s NCCP course schedule for April to June 2019.

On March 30th, 35 athletes competed in the 2019 CrossFit Winnipeg Open and Manitoba Masters Championships, hosted by the Dakota Weightlifting Club.
